Lights, Make-Up and Action!

 Hello

Another week flies by, and I ‘m closer to visiting my sister. Although all the forms and tests are a little stressful.

I have craft stuff for her, which is beginning to weigh more than my clothes!

This is the smaller version of the card I made for my sister; this one is for my niece.

Supplies used were made to surprise dies and stamps, coloured with memento inks and promarkers. The high-tops were a Digi image reduced down and the stilettos were from Creative Stamping.

Thanks for your visit, I really appreciate it!

Gnome

Hello

I hope you are keeping well?

A good friend and the mother of one of my nieces was 50 over the weekend, these are what I created.

The first card is from me and hubby, the various stamps were from AI (Art Impression) and creative stamping mag, coloured with Zig Real Colour Brush pens.

The second little card was made for my great niece to give to her nanny, they love to spend time in the garden together (just copied from the mag as I wasn't given a lot of notice), I couldn't resist to add the little 50 in the wellies. Stamps from creative stamping and again coloured with Zig Real colour Brush Pens and the papers were also from the mag.

Thanks for your visit I really do appreciate!

Sweet 16!

 Hello

Sorry I've been MIA but had the living room plastered and it's caused a bit of chaos and before everything goes back in we'll be painting but it takes time when your doing it your self (well hubby is). So we had no internet for the week and then my laptop didn't want to reconnect!

Anyway enough of my problems here's my little card I made for my niece.

The stamps came with creative stamping mag.

Thanks for visiting!

Hubby

Hello

Hope you are all well?

I'm not feeling this new blogger at all, I know it's probably user error!

I love a good storm as long I’m in the house looking out.

Today’s card was for my husband, inspiration from Creative Stamping but wow did I have trouble doing some heat embossing, I gave up in the end, it just wouldn’t work! So, I left the image just back and coloured with my Zig Real Brushes. The background was created with JND media plate and distress inks.

Colouring with Barbara!

Thanks for your visit, really do appreicate!

Ivy

Hello

How's it going? I'm hoping they don't rush this lockdown, I for have no plans to leave home other than shopping and going to work when I get called back in.

This was just a copy from creative stamper, with just a slight change.

Some more doodles with Barbara Gray and I must say I'm very impressed with myself....

Thanks for your visit, I really do appreciate it x

80th

Hello All

I hope you are all coping with the lockdown, my husband and I are/were doing couch to 5k in the garden but I'm struggling with heel spurs so I've stopped and will try some walking instead.
Never had heel spurs before and it's quite painful.

My little card today is for a mail crafter from our craft group, we usually meet every Tuesday but we've been stopped for a while now even before the lockdown we made the decission because we have a few elderly members.

Copied from Creative Stamping, using distress inks and Zig Clean Colour real brush pens.

Thanks for your visit x

New Job

Hello

Hope everyone is well, I was furloughed last Wednesday so no work for me , the only time I leave the house now is to go shopping, very strange times we are living in.

I wish people would follow the rules and stay home, this is a nasty disease we are dealing with.

So on to my card, my neice started a new job in the middle of march.
She joined the Police in a civilian role and is really enjoying it.
So the card says "plod" on the front and inside "on to new adventures".

The stamps came with Creative Stamping, I think they are great set and will come in very useful for those pesky males in our lives!
Coloured with Zig Clean Colour Real Brushes.

Thanks for visiting, I really do appreciate it.
Take care! x

ATC's

Hi Everyone

How are we all coping?
My gaffa hasn't decided what is happening work wise, we've reduced the office to only two in at a time. I'm working a 2 day week until he decides.
I'm hoping he makes the decision tomorrow as it the last day of the month.

I'm sharing the last two months of ATC's I made.

Theme here was Valentine, so I made the standard ATC's and a couple of ATCoins.

Theme here was Imagine, so I imagined being on a beach and wow am I gonna need this imagination over the coming months.

Thanks for visiting, I really do appreciate it x

Style

Hello

Well I'm getting rather stressed out with this coronavirus, I go to bed thinking of it and I wake up thinking of it, I'm under 60 with no heath issues so I should be OK but I still don't want to catch it!
I still have to go to work untill my gaffa says otherwise, we have no options to work from home.
People have gone crazy in the shops!

So now I've despressed you all...lol I'll introduce my latest card for my SIL.

The stamps were from Creative Stamping and the background I created with my first attempt at using shaving foam.

Thanks for visiting I really do appreicate it x

December Birthdays

Hello

Hope you are all well, it's a bit nippy here.

Mr Pickle spent two weeks in the cattery over Christmas while we went on our holiday, I was very worried because he hasn't really settled in with us yet, he didn't like the cat box one bit.
They said he settled down after about 48 hours and was OK.
When we collected him my hubby was sure we had got the wrong cat, he was very affectionate and even climbed on to hubby's lap.

Hubby  reckoned that someone else had got Pickle and couldn't understand why their cat was hiding behind the couch....lol
So we are hoping this is a turing point for him and he is starting to feel at home!

Oh and before I forget has anyone any ideas why my signature has gone from below?

Anyway on to the cards that I made for crafty friends birthdays in December.

The layout and design was from an old Creative Stamper mag, I just changed the image I used.

The background was created by heat embossing in white ink and then going over with distress inks and then I matched the colours for the Perfume Bottle.

The second card I used backing papers and a simple besotted stamp with the same layout.

As always thanks for your visit I really do appreciate it x
