ATC's

Hello

I’ve remembered!

Roof is still work in progress, weather hasn't been great to be up on a roof, they worked Sunday and got drenched but should be finished next week.

I have some ATC's to share with you today.

These have been made for a direct swap; we take it in turns to pick a theme and these were the first three months.

A variety of techniques used, lots of distress inks and Lavinia stamps on the first, zig real Colour and Stamps from a mag on the second and papers for the third with Hero Arts stamps.

Fairies

Happy Mistake!

Hello

Well, this not so little card turned out to be a labour of love.... my first attempt at stamping the greeting straight on to the card was not successful as it was upside down, so I then turned it over and started again, first stamp impression not so good so stamped again and the paper moved so got a blurry image.

Time to give up I said but I'd already shared with our what's App group and someone suggested stamping the happy again on a piece of scrap and mounting it but I'd already cut the card so I could use the back!

So, it was saved and altered and I'm very pleased with it......

Woodware stamp, distress inks, stencils, greeting stamp was gift with mag.

Thanks for your visit I really do appreciate it!

Daisy B

Hello

Hope you are keeping well, I'm doing OK!

So, while I'm trying to get to grips with blogger changes, Facebook is now at it and that will change September and I really don't like that setup! Hubby always says I don't like change and he isn't wrong.

Sharing some more Dasiy B, more elegant ladies as you can tell I do like this stamp.

Coloured with distress inks.

Some colouring I've been doing with Kelly Horton Images. Only done the skin so far so still a lot of work to do. I'm really pleased with the outcome with Kelly's help I've actually created something realistic and at last got some real use out of my prisma pencils.

Thanks for your visit I really do appreciate it!

A special ATC

Hello

Hope you are all well.

Just sharing some ATC's that I've made for a Facebook Swap but before that I just want to share a beautifully doodled ATC I received from Emily aged 4 who is Alison59's granddaughter.

I'd decided to send her the ATC (which I was hoping would be her first) because she has been doodling along with Alison (and Barbara).

It's taken pride of place!

I will share some more doodled ATC's at later date, I just really needed to share Emily's with you!

The theme here was rainbows, I used distress inks and Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Pens and die cut some clouds.

The theme here was best thing about lockdown. I chose more time to craft. The background was created with Brushos and a very old free stamp.

Here was our trip to Africa with Barbara Gray.

Thanks for your visit I really do appreicate it!

These are just a few cards I've sent sending happy thoughts!

Photo heavy but I'd been using the Daisy B butterfly stamp with brushos and got a bit carried away.

The senitment came free with a mag.

My week with Barbara Grey we doodled a Dream Catcher. Get me!

December Birthdays

Hello

Hope you are all well, it's a bit nippy here.

Mr Pickle spent two weeks in the cattery over Christmas while we went on our holiday, I was very worried because he hasn't really settled in with us yet, he didn't like the cat box one bit.
They said he settled down after about 48 hours and was OK.
When we collected him my hubby was sure we had got the wrong cat, he was very affectionate and even climbed on to hubby's lap.

Hubby  reckoned that someone else had got Pickle and couldn't understand why their cat was hiding behind the couch....lol
So we are hoping this is a turing point for him and he is starting to feel at home!

Oh and before I forget has anyone any ideas why my signature has gone from below?

Anyway on to the cards that I made for crafty friends birthdays in December.

The layout and design was from an old Creative Stamper mag, I just changed the image I used.

The background was created by heat embossing in white ink and then going over with distress inks and then I matched the colours for the Perfume Bottle.

The second card I used backing papers and a simple besotted stamp with the same layout.

As always thanks for your visit I really do appreciate it x

Remember

Hello

These were the cards I made for Rememberance Sunday.
One went over the pond to a dear friend.

I used some Altnew Poppy stamps that came free with a mag, I've seen some gorgeous cards made with Altnew Stamps but I find them a pain in the rear too much faffing for me.
I've tried several times with different stamps and thought the Poppies might make a difference as I love Poppies but it didn't.
They came with a stencil as well and that was even worse, the second card I had about 3 attempts
because each section is a seperate piece and I kept getting ink where I didnt want it, so I won'e be using that again...lol

Well that's my little moan for day.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Thanks for your visit, Much appreicated x

Just because

Hello

This is a scheduled post so I hope it works, I'll be away for a girlie holiday with my sisters, sister in law and niece for a week on the lovely Island of Kos.

These cards were made for the girls for a bit of fun, just cos I can...lol

I made two of the ladies on deck chairs for my sisters and two of the single lady for my sister in law and niece.

Glad to say they loved them and are looking forward to the holiday.

Coloured with distress inks used as water colours, Ai Art impressions and free stamps.

What have we done to deserve this flipping weather, I'm so cold you wouldn't believe it and I'm just getting over a heavy cold.

This little pesky male card was for hubby, have I ever mentioned how much I dislike male cards......
it wasn't one of my better makes!

Used free stamps and brushos to create the border.

Hi All

Another card made with the stamps from Creative Stamping.
When I make these cards I'm always a bit wary as to how the recipient will receive them and feel like I should add on the envelope "Don't open if easily offended!
They are only ever sent in humour not malice!

Coloured with  Prisma Pencils.
