I hope you are all well, I'm not looking forward to the rain they said we are going to get, feel really sorry for the people it will effect.

While we were away in Canada for Christmas, my husbands son got engaged to a French Canadian girl.

It was the first time meeting his in laws and they were very good to him and us. So my husband suggested I make some thank you cards (as if I wouldn't have) and kept asking if I'd done them.  So the deal was I make the cards and he write in French inside but has he done yet...................NO!

So here they are....still waiting to be sent!

Today's card is for a friends son, I've used a digi image and coloured with prismacolor pencils. I did attempt to decoupage it but it wasn't very successful.

I knew I should have asked how to spell the groom's name, you guessed I spelt it wrong, how embarrassing was that especially as it was printed on the front.

70th card

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas.

I was pleased that I had finished my Christmas cards and made a good start on January's birthday cards before we went away on our Christmas break, until I was told about a little get together for my aunt who was 70, we couldn't make the get together but I had to make a card didn't I? 

I loved the result (for short notice).

Card and Wallets

Hi all

I'm sharing a Christmas card and some money wallets today.

I saw the money wallets being made on Hochanda and thought it was great idea and had to make some straight away, I changed them slightly as I didn't want to put them into envelopes so I made the slip on band.
