50th

Hiya

I found out last week that my hairdresser was going to be 50 this week. I wanted to make her a card but I don't do quick...lol, it takes me an age to make a card. So for quickness I used a design that I had used before, I added some glossy accents to the boots and laces but it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped (she might not notice that) and all but one of the flowers were handmade.

As always your visit is very much appreciated.

Mother's Day

Hiya

Hope everyone is well and making the most of the weather before it changes again...lol, on Sunday we drove to the Brean Downs for a walk, it was really lovely but very breezy.
Today's cards is for my MIL for mother's day. The card is based on a Phill Martin card, never seen any of his cards before and I think he gives some great ideas using the dies.  I caught him on a C&C repeat which surprised me as all I ever seem to see is the ScanNCut and hunkydory stuff. I had to make do with stash I already had, the roses were handmade using the Cherrylyn Rose dies. I thought the box style card would make a nice little addition to her mother's day card and can't believe how easy and nice it was to make. I followed the instructions from here.

As always thanks for your visit, is it much appreciate!

Delicate Asters

Hiya

Today's cards are made with the lovely Delicate Asters dies and stamps, the first one is a copy of a
Sue Wilson card, I loved how she had made the middle of the flowers and just had to have a go and of course that had to include a little retail therapy to get the supplies. Being impatient  I didn't let the beads dry on the first card and they were a bit clumpy but were perfect on the second, it just means I need to buy some more colours in the alcohol inks.

As always thanks for visiting!
