For my nieces

Well it turned out rather nice after the rain this morning, managed to get some washing dried which is always a good thing. You can't beat the smell of washing that has dried on the line. OK on to my cards, they were made for my nieces Lizzie in June and Victoria in August. Oops just noticed that I forgot to put niece on the
younger ones card but she was probably more interested in what was inside to notice...lol
Both cards were made with free papers from magazines and the flowers on the first card were made with a die.

As always thanks for visiting!

  15. Hi Ali,

    Thanks to your lovely comments.

You asked how I did that first card, dabbed three colours of distress ink to an acrylic block, spirtzed with glimmer mist (could just as easily use water) and stamped directly onto a piece of watercolour card (I use reverse Centura Pearl quite often as it's a cheaper option). Placed post it notes around the lower edges when dry and stamped the flowers, remove the post it's finally stamped the butterfly.

    Hope that makes sense.

Very sweet card, I've given that image for my birthday and inky out the other days the first time.
